Frequently Asked
Questions
-
How long will it take me to complete the course? In total, the 12 modules are around 4 hours in length, but we wouldn't recommend that you watch them all in one go. For the best experience, we would recommend that you watch 1 or 2 modules a week and use the time in between to reflect on what you have learnt and how it relates to your practice.
-
How do I become an Accredited CAT Therapist? The route to becoming an accredited CAT Therapist is through an approved Practitioner course, which requires both academic and practice based assessments. You can find out more about this from the Association for Cognitive Analytic Therapy (ACAT). However, clinicians often complete an introduction course to CAT, like this one, before undertaking the full 3 year practitioner training.
-
What is the Monthly Q&A access? One of the Tutors offers an online Q&A session each month which can be accessed as part of your standard Introductory course enrolment. The Q&A is between 30 minutes and an hour depending on the number of students attending. You can not bring confidential patient information to this space, it is focused on questions about the model.
